Dr. Pitayadet Jumrussirikul, a native of Thailand, joined Iowa Heart Center's electrophysiology program in 2005.

Dr. Jumrussirikul holds a medical degree from Siriraj Medical School in Bangkok. He completed his internship and residency at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore; and his cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, also in Baltimore.

Dr. Jumrussirikul then returned to Thailand, where he served as a medical instructor for three years before joining a cardiology practice in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Dr. Jumrussirikul is board certified in both cardiology and electrophysiology. He practices at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
