Dr. Martin joined Iowa Heart Center in November of 2007. He holds a medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines and completed his residency at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. Martin completed his cardiology fellowship at East Tennessee State University and his advanced cardiac CT/MR. fellowship at the University of Florida at Shands.

Before joining Iowa Heart, Dr. Martin was the Director of Cardiovascular Imaging at Rockford Cardiology Associates in Rockford, IL.

Dr. Martin is board-certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Martin offers outpatient appointments at the West University location in West Des Moines.

Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with his family and getting to know the people in the new communities he now lives and works in.
