both in the hospital and office setting.

surgical patients, including recording patient progress notes,
issuing diagnostic orders which must be countersigned by the
supervising physician and transcribing or executing specific
orders at the direction of the supervising physician.
9. Administers injections, immunizations, and oral medications.
Prepares written prescription orders for drugs and controlled
substances.
10. Triages patient telephone calls.
11. Completes discharge summaries on patients.
12. Responds to urgent calls and handles emergency needs of these
patients.

requested.
14. Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician
